We loved working with Kate Harris on transforming her Barton Street retail space into the perfect home for her new fashion label Racket.
The design strategy focused on finding the best way to provide all of the zones needed for a retail space without compromising on a curated, shopping experience. We carefully arranged retail spaces, created secluded changing rooms, a work room and storage space. We selected mobile displays so the store could be arranged as new collections get released, as well as events.
The hero of the space is the Blue Tempest Quartzite stone counter from SCE Stone & Design. It’s a stunning natural stone known for its dramatic veining and blue tones which pair beautifully with her debut collection and brand colours. The touches of cobalt blue throughout the space were drawn directly from Racket’s brand identity, developed by Daymark. The rest of the finishes - walnut, stainless steel, and velvet - elevate the space into a tactile, luxury experience.
